I KNOW WHAT I AM GOING TO DO!
For my stop motion project, I had trouble getting started. I took pictures and started with something else using cut paper but the I wasn't feeling it. So of coarse in doubt go to youtube...I found some cool stuff and so now I have started working on another paper animation. I am taking a cut out of a paper man and am flicking him across paper and then they are all going to move around the paper and do some crazy things (I still have to add some more details.) then they are going to drop onto the paper and change into other things like water, birds, etc, and then they are all going to turn back into one cut out guy again. yay!

Artists Statement
April 3, 2012
When I work with paint I become very relaxed and in peace. This reflects my artistic style because it is very expressive and vibrant in color. When I start to paint I like to do a lot of research first. I also think about my projects in terms of composition and subject matter. I like to have everything worked out and planned ahead of time because I don’t want to have to do “boring” work when I could just relax and have fun with the work. I know when I finish a project when I get a sense that it’s complete. I always see flaws in my work but I try to stop painting before it looks forced or overworked. When my work is successful I am filled with a sense of satisfaction and a sense of fulfillment. I like to do a lot of expressionistic works with organic components. One day, I would like to steer in a direction away from that and learn more from realism to expand my knowledge and improve in skill. When people see my work I hope they see a lot of emotion shown through it and can also give me good constructive feedback, hopefully one day by a real critic in an article but by the viewers as well.
